This is how red rocks get a bad name. I'm used to bright rocks, anyway, because the sun never goes down on the cool... ;)

I'm in the process of adding to my house. I'll get a bit more color in there. Now about the light/ bleeding changes; I like it. You can see on my house where the black is, red used to bleed through. I looked today and that black section there is 3 blocks thick with the light behind it and the lava/ lantern blocks are inside a room with a door to keep the light/ color from bleeding into the rest of the structure. I hollowed out a big hill on the road there at 114 or 116 or someplace like that. I'll probably post a picture tomorrow, I wish I had one from before. Anyway, it's this big cavern like with rounded edges. I liked the rounded cavern kind of look so I covered the walls with shaped copper. I put grass on the floor in there and on part of the wall so I put a line or two or shaped patina in to make it pop a bit. In the older version, the color from the granite bled so hard into the shaped copper and the shaped patina that it was difficult to see the difference. It was all so dark. I kept the rocks thick on purpose so the outside of the hill didn't lose it's shape and the light didn't bleed out from inside. The only solution would have been to leave it or add another layer of the shaped copper/ patina which would have caused it to lose it's shape.

@Gerberd: the harder material transitions are also new, distinct to the overpowering magical light issue. Maybe we all need some time to evaluate the changes over time. And KJ, I fully understand you were/are upset about the changes. You were comfortable with the old look and all of a sudden everything changes outside of your control. That's very frustrating!

Hey Firefly... I'll get over it and adapt. The change in the black blocks does bring out more detail in the other blocks, although the same programing should happen with the white marble block, also, since the red still bleeds into it. After I do some replacing of blocks, it'll be as good as before, or better. I'll create a new comfort zone ;)

Previously it was too much. That's why my walls on the house are/ were so thick. I like the hills. I always end up digging. Previously there was little I could do to keep the outside of the hill looking the same and undistorted while at the same time making it bright and colorful inside. Now there is no issue with that. Overnight, all of a sudden I can make an underground area without it looking like a dungeon. Now that part of my house doesn't need to be built like its housing nuclear weapons to mute and contain the color. I didn't really want it that way, I just did it because I could. Now that I can change it I will. I was building with plaster and it was dark. I easily put lights on the other side of it and it lightened it all up nicely. Yes its a drastic change but it was too much before. If you want to mess with it sometime frank, you could; but it was way too much before and I think this is real close if not where it should be. Us being used to how it looked doesn't change the fact that this is really how it should look.

The new Water Block can make a nice tornado. I built one in front of my village of Justice, just as a test, and it didn't turn out too bad. Sometimes, it appears to be spinning, also. So I propose a secondary name for the Water Block... the Tornado Block, obviously.

Yesterday I saw that tornado! It's cool! Very original and well done.

Thank you, Fierro. Maybe, someone can create a tornado with a house on top of it, which might lead to creating the Land of Oz? Any Wizard of Oz fans?
