KJ, did you sign-out and sign-in to the game after accepting the friend request on the website? Accepting in-game updates your friend list live, but doing it on the website doesn't instantly transfer to the game.

@KJ: do you have more than 90 friends? Then only the (offline) ones with many coins will show up until they come online.
