I find typing in the game quite hard can someone fix it? I keep trying to type on the holo scroll block but it won't work

Hey Kibbles, can you explain what makes typing for the holo scroll harder than (for instance) entering your player name and password?

I used to have that issue on my Android device, it would never bring up the soft keyboard. The issue went away a year or so ago with an (OS) update. I noticed a couple days ago that there was a large lag (30 sec) for the soft keyboard to popup when AD offered a textbox. Fortunately, I almost never need to type on it.

OK, so the idea is that you select the holo scroll from your inventory or hotbar. Then mouse-click once to place where you want it. Then just type and press Enter twice. Does that work? Also: make sure touchscreen input is disabled in the options menu, otherwise your going to have a very bad time.
