Heads-up: thanks to @Loki the Witful and @Rob12 I've identified and fixed three issues with NPCs:

1.) NPCs do not wait, dance or attack correctly when a decal is above the behavioral underground marker. Fix: make NPCs wait correctly while executing their behavior.

2.) NPCs will dance when a lantern decal is placed underground instead of dancing only for actual treasure blocks. Fix: prevent lantern decals from triggering NPCs dancing.

3.) NPCs riding a creature will go into their attack state—triggered by a poison barrel—even though they have no animation for this. Fix: poison barrels no longer make mounted NPCs go into attack state.

Can everyone live with these fixes? I will roll them out soon if we can all agree that fixing these issues is a good idea :-)

I'm really close to rolling this out. I had my finger on the trigger a few moments ago, but then another batch of people decided to start playing… I'm monitoring this. As soon as the player count drops below a certain imaginary value I'll restart the game server.
